One UI 8 features new ringtones based on Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons
Samsung likes to add a little flair to its major releases with bespoke new ringtones recorded by famous artists. One UI 8 – currently running on the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7 and Z Flip7 FE – features four new ringtones based on Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons.
You can find them in the Settings and pick from Autumn, Spring, Summer and Winter. These are part of Samsung Galaxy’s “Inspired by Nature” design philosophy. They join ringtones based on The Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns, which were released last year.
This performance of The Four Seasons was recorded in a concert hall using Dolby Atmos technology. Renowned artists participated in the production, including Grammy Award-winning sound director Hwang Byung-jun, Seoul National University professor and violinist Kim Da-mi and the classical music performance team Collegium Musicum Seoul.
It’s not just ringtones, One UI 8 features other nature-inspired sounds. For example, actual recordings of rock sounds are used as touch sounds.
