While Oppo did not share any specific details about the upcoming imaging system, the brand is confident that it will “set a new benchmark for the quality of mobile imaging”.

The partnership with Hasselblad is built on a shared passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering the ultimate imaging experience.

Over the past four years, we have brought the truly professional, legendary camera experience of Hasselblad to Oppo’s global users.

With the extension of our collaboration, we will push the boundaries of mobile imaging even further. – Pete Lau, Chief Product Officer at Oppo.

Oppo and Hasselblad’s imaging partnership dates back to the Oppo Find X5 series. Oppo’s flagship phones featured several camera enhancements, including Hasselblad color science and Hasselblad Portrait Mode, which simulates classic Hasselblad lenses.

Oppo also added a professional Hasselblad Master Mode, which takes inspiration from the brand’s flagship mirrorless medium format camera – the Hasselblad X2D. Oppo flagships have also benefited from the Hasselblad XPan mode, which recreates the signature 65:24 wide aspect ratio for images.
