Oppo uses record-breaking UEFA Champions League final to flex AI and camera muscle
The UEFA Champions League Final ended on Saturday with a dominating 5-0 win for PSG over Inter – a record victory in the competition’s finals. The match took place in Munich, and since Oppo is one of the competition’s main sponsors it took to the packed 75,000 arena to promote its latest smartphones and tech.

The company flexed the camera muscle of its Oppo Find X8 Pro and Find X8 Ultra at the final. With the Pro the only one available in Europe, understandably Oppo focused more on the Dimensity 9400-powered handset.
There was also a big focus on the Oppo AI features. The company set up multiple booths and experience zones where fans could take AI-powered photos with Kaka and Yamine Lamal, both company brand ambassadors. Some fans were also in for a treat, with a surprise appearance from Marco Materazzi, Inter legend and Champions League winner in 2010.

Another friendly game included Esteban Cambiasso – another Inter legend and winner of the trophy back in 2010, when the Italian side won against Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Spain.
