Our Honor 400 Pro battery life and charging speed test results are out

We’ve finished testing the battery life endurance and charging speed of the Honor 400 Pro.

Honor 400 Pro 5G

The phone packs a 5,300mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. That’s 100mAh more than the Honor 200 Pro, but also 700 mAh less than the version sold outside Europe. The wired charging speed is the same, however, the wireless speed is reduced from 66W.

The Honor 400 Pro achieved a better Active Use score compared to its predecessor, close to 3 hours more overall. The 400 Pro outdid the 200 Pro in all categories, with around 8 hours more in calling, nearly 4 hours more in the browsing test, around 3 and a half hours more in video playback, and nearly 40 minutes of gaming more.

Measuring the Honor 400 Pro against some of its peers outside of Honor’s lineup, and it’s a solid performer, however far from the best, which is the Xiaomi 15.

Moving on to charging performance, the Honor 400 Pro is a standout phone. It kept the second place in all three of our tests – the 15-minute test, the 30-minute one, and the time to full charge, which took just 38 minutes in total.

You’ll get from empty to 53% in a quarter of an hour, and up to 93% at the half-hour mark.

The Xiaomi 14T Pro was the only phone here to outdo the Honor 400 Pro, thanks to its 120W HyperCharge tech.
