Samsung Galaxy Buds3 FE will have much improved battery life
According to a rumor from June, Samsung was busy working on not one, but two pairs of affordable wireless earbuds. The Galaxy Buds Core will be the cheapest in its roster, and have already been soft-launched in some places, and the Galaxy Buds3 FE will be the mid-range option, underneath the Buds3.
Now, the Buds3 FE have received the SGS Fimko certification in Europe, and this has revealed a massive improvement in battery sizes compared to the original Galaxy Buds FE which launched back in 2023.
The Buds3 FE each have a 100 mAh cell, and the case has a 900 mAh battery. That’s up from 60 mAh per earbud in the originals and up from 479 mAh in the Buds FE case. To put it into a different perspective, that’s a 66% improvement in capacity for the buds themselves, and an 87% improvement for the case. This should obviously result in the Buds3 FE having much better longevity between charges than their predecessors.
Looks-wise, they will be inspired by the high-end Galaxy Buds3 Pro, but with an all-plastic build and a panda-like color scheme. Because of their FE branding, it wouldn’t surprise us at all if the Galaxy Buds3 FE go official whenever Samsung unveils the Galaxy S25 FE.
