Samsung Galaxy M36 5G India Launch Date Set for June 27; Colours, Key Features Revealed

Samsung Galaxy M36 5G’s India launch date has been confirmed. The company recently teased the the design and the price range of the upcoming smartphone. Now, several key specifications of the phone, including camera, build and dimension details, have been confirmed as well. The Galaxy M36 5G is expected to be a successor to the Galaxy M35 5G, which was introduced in the country in July 2024. It will feature a triple rear camera setup.

The Samsung Galaxy M36 5G will launch in India on June 27, the company confirmed in a press release. Meanwhile, a live Amazon microsite for the handset suggests that it will be available for purchase in the country through the e-commerce site alongside the official Samsung India website. The company revealed that the smartphone will come in Orange Haze, Serene Green, and Velvet Black colour options.

Samsung added that the upcoming Galaxy M36 5G will measure 7.7mm in thickness and boast Corning Gorilla Glass Victus display protection. It will offer AI features such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search.

For optics, the Samsung Galaxy M36 5G will be equipped with an OIS-supported 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit. The camera sensors will sit inside a pill shaped module, while the LED flash is placed next to it. Both front and rear cameras will support 4K video recording, according to the company. 

The company had recently also teased the price range of the upcoming Galaxy M36 5G. As per Samsung, the phone will be priced under Rs. 20,000 in the country. 

Recently, the Samsung Galaxy M36 5G, with the model number SM-M366B, was spotted on Geekbench. The listing suggested that the phone could be powered by an Exynos 1380 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM. It is expected to run on Android 15-based One UI 7 out-of-the-box.
