Store banner reveals Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7’s design, shows off its slender frame

A few weeks ago, we heard that Samsung has sent out demo units of its next generation foldables to stores. Apparently, promotional materials are headed to stores too as we received this photo of a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 banner stand over email.

Samsung has already claimed that the Z Fold7 will be the thinnest and lightest horizontal foldable yet. The company didn’t offer exact numbers to back up its claim, but we have seen the leaked figures: 158.4 x 143.1 x 3.9mm unfolded.

And you can see that in the banner – the two halves of the phone are so slender, they barely house a loudspeaker grille and some microphones. In such cases, it’s usually the USB-C port that’s the limiting factor. Unfortunately, that is not shown on the banner.

The banner also makes it clear that Samsung is still all-in on AI. It recently teased Galaxy Z Fold7’s AI camera features. Thankfully, this will not be the only camera upgrade – the Z Fold7 is supposed to be getting a 200MP sensor, though that’s only a rumor for now.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 – alongside the Galaxy Z Flip7, Z Flip7 FE and new smartwatches – is expected to be unveiled on July 13 in New York, though Samsung has not sent out an official “save the date” just yet.

Thanks to our tipster for sending in the photo!
